SAFETY: Participants must wear an approved safety New Zealand cycling helmet while riding in the events. Road rules are to be obeyed at all times as roads are open to vehicle traffic.

Prizegiving will take place at the venue, approximately 1.00pm.

Great Spot Prizes including a mountain bike donated by Paeroa Marine & Cycle Ltd. Participation certificates will be available, at the event, to those who wish to collect them following their race. 

TRANSFERS AND REFUNDS: No transfers or refunds after 23 February 2010

No Refunds Policy: Whilst absolutely every effort will be made to run all events, it is possible that all or part of an event may have to be cancelled at any stage due to extreme factors. Under no circumstances shall St Joseph’s Catholic School be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces or causes beyond its reasonable control including without limitation; fires, flood, storms, explosion, acts of God, war, governmental actions or non performance by third parties. If the event has to be cancelled, then no refunds will be given. 

*Notice of cancellation will be displayed by 8.00 am on the day of the Cycle Race on the St. Josephs website at www.paeroa-stjosephs.school.nz

Waiver:   I accept the conditions of entry, while recognizing and agreeing that biking is an inherently risky and physically challenging undertaking. I attest to having read all information supplied in the entry form and enter this event knowing full well the risks and demands involved. I accept and understand that the rules of the road apply. Therefore I take personal responsibility for my fitness, experience and actions during the event. Such as, I, my family, heirs and executors of my estate, discharge the event organiser, sponsors and all other persons involved in the event, of any liability, claims or damages relating to personal injury, loss or damage of equipment, or any other matter arising from the event.
