Painting Workshops

with Dawn Elliot
Dawn is an experienced tutor and accomplished artist residing in Paeroa.

Tuesday 5th July -“A Splash of Colour”

Painting with colour, texture & different mediums using acrylic paint
On canvas or 300 gm watercolour paper or pad. Learn how to blend colours on canvas using brush & palette knife. Beginners welcome. Have fun and paint your blues away!
Time: 10am—4pm
Where: Paeroa Society of Arts workroom
Cost: $50 per person (or $90 for the 2 days)

Tuesday 12th July “Landscapes”

Learn techniques and how to create depth and perspective. Beginners welcome.
Time: 10am—4pm
Where: Paeroa Society of Arts workroom
Cost: $50 per person (or $90 for the 2 days)
Please bring with you: paints, brushes, palette knife, modelling compound, canvas or paper, clean rags & lunch (or there are cafes & lunch bars in the vicinity) for both days. Some materials supplied. Tea & coffee supplied.

Candle Making Workshop

Make an environmentally friendly soy wax candle in a mosaic bowl that will burn for 36 hours to take home with you.
